Haldi ceremony photography
The turmeric, the colour, the music and the laughter — the Haldi is one of the most joyful and photogenic moments before a wedding. We photograph it with genuine understanding of the ritual, so nothing meaningful is missed amid all the fun.
We know the ritual, so we're ready for it
The Haldi moves fast and gets wonderfully messy — turmeric everywhere, family taking turns, everyone drawn in. Because we understand how the ceremony flows, we are positioned for the moments that matter: the first application, the reactions, the elders' blessings, and the sheer colour of it all.
We are a Dublin-based husband-and-wife team who work with Indian and Irish families every week. The Haldi often sits alongside other celebrations — see our cultural events and wedding pages if you are planning the wider day.
Turmeric, marigolds and music — a riot of colour we know how to photograph.

Haldi FAQs
Yes — we photograph Indian ceremonies regularly and understand how a Haldi flows, so we are ready for the key moments rather than reacting to them. If your family follows particular regional customs, we will go through them beforehand.
We are used to it. We protect our gear and position ourselves to catch the action safely, so we can get in close for the colour and reactions without missing a beat.
For outdoor Haldis, yes — where it is permitted, safe and practical to fly. It captures the scale and colour beautifully. It is included in Gold and a €150 add-on on the other packages. Indoor venues are photographed on the ground.
Absolutely. Many couples add Mehendi, Sangeet or the wedding day itself. See our cultural events and wedding pages, and we will plan coverage across the days.
