Wedding photography in Dublin, and right across Ireland

We are a Dublin-based photography and film team. We photograph weddings the way they actually happen, from the quiet moments while everyone is getting ready to the last dance of the night. We work with couples and families from every community, with real experience across Indian, multicultural and traditional celebrations.

How we work

Real moments first, portraits second

The photographs that matter most, years down the line, are rarely the ones where everyone was lined up and told to smile. They are the ones that show what actually happened on the day: the laugh during the vows, a parent watching their child walk down the aisle, the first quiet minute the two of you get to yourselves.

We stay unobtrusive and move naturally around the day. We still take proper family groups and couple portraits, we just keep that part relaxed and efficient so you are back with your guests quickly. We work to stay in the background, so you can be present at your own wedding.

From a quiet registry ceremony to a three-day celebration, we cover the day at whatever scale suits you.

What you are paying for

Wedding photography is more than a day with a camera

Most of the work sits either side of the wedding itself. Here is what a booking really involves, so you can see where your money goes.

Before the day

A planning conversation to understand your timeline, ceremonies and priorities. We talk through the venue and lighting, the family groups you want, travel between locations, and any traditions we should be ready for. Equipment is prepared, cleaned and backed up, with spares for everything.

On the day

Coverage of preparations, the ceremony, family and group photographs, couple portraits, the details you have planned, and the candid moments in between. Depending on the package this is one or two photographers, with a videographer or video crew, and drone where the venue and conditions allow.

After the day

Backing up every file in more than one place, then culling thousands of frames down to the strongest images. Each delivered photograph is individually edited for colour and exposure. Films are edited, graded and set to music, then everything is prepared in a private online gallery.

This is why wedding coverage costs more than an hourly rate. If it helps, we have written openly about why professional photography costs what it does.

On the day

What we cover

A full wedding day has a natural arc. These are the parts we photograph, adjusted to suit your schedule and the type of wedding you are having.

Preparations

Getting ready, the details you have chosen, and the calm and nerves before everything begins, with the people closest to you.

The ceremony

Every part of your ceremony, whether civil, church or religious, photographed carefully and without interrupting the moment.

Family & group photographs

Relaxed group portraits worked from a short list you give us in advance, kept moving so you are not away from your guests for long.

Couple portraits

A short window away from the crowd, often at golden hour or a spot like Howth, the Phoenix Park or the coast. This is where the images couples love most tend to come from.

Cultural ceremonies & traditions

Mandap rituals, pheras, saptapadi, Haldi and Mehendi, aarti, and church traditions. We know these moments and where to be for them.

Reception & celebrations

Speeches, the first dance, and the room as the evening unfolds, through to the celebrations later in the night.

Experience that shows on the day

Indian, multicultural and traditional weddings

We photograph weddings for couples from every community in Ireland. Alongside church and civil weddings, we have real experience with Indian and multicultural celebrations, and with weddings that bring more than one tradition together across a day or across several days.

That experience matters when moments cannot be repeated. We know the order a Hindu ceremony tends to follow, where to stand before the pheras begin, and how to move quietly during an aarti or in a church without drawing attention. We understand these ceremonies from the inside, so nothing needs to be explained to us mid-ceremony. If your wedding follows traditions we have not photographed before, we will ask you about them properly beforehand so we are ready. We cover weddings across Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow and nationwide.

Wedding film

The films we make, explained

Wedding video is often misunderstood, so it helps to be precise. Adding film usually means an extra person or crew on the day, which is reflected in the packages above.

Highlight Reel

A short recap under 90 seconds, made for sharing. A quick, energetic summary of the day rather than a full film.

Cinematic Highlight Film

Around 4 to 5 minutes. A polished short film of the key moments, set to music. Included from the Half-Day package upward.

Cinematic Wedding Film

Around 5 to 7 minutes. A fuller film covering more of the day's story, included with the Full-Day package.

Cinematic Highlight + Traditional Film

Included with the Complete package. A 4 to 5 minute cinematic highlight plus a longer traditional film of roughly 10 to 20 minutes, depending on coverage.

Need more coverage?

Extra events and longer days

Many weddings are more than a single ceremony and reception. If your celebration includes a Haldi, Mehendi, a separate reception, an engagement, a welcome event, or a second day, we would rather add proper coverage for it than pretend one package stretches to cover everything.

Tell us what your full celebration looks like and we will put together coverage that fits, whether that is additional hours, an extra event, or a second photographer or videographer for the day. Standalone cultural functions can also be booked on our cultural events page.

Before you book

What to have in mind

You do not need everything finalised to enquire, but these are the things that shape the right package for you.

Venue and locations. Where the ceremony and reception are, and whether they are in one place or several.
Rough timeline. Start time, ceremony length, and when the evening celebrations begin.
Number of events. A single day, or additional functions such as Haldi, Mehendi or a second day.
Photography priorities. The moments and people that matter most to you.
Film requirements. Whether you want a film, and how much of the day it should cover.
Cultural or religious traditions. Anything specific we should prepare for in advance.
Approximate guest numbers. Helpful for planning group photographs and coverage.
Travel. Whether the wedding is in Dublin or further afield.
After the wedding

Editing, backup and delivery

Once the day is over, every file is copied to more than one place before anything else happens, so your images are safe. We then work through the full set, selecting the strongest frames and editing each delivered photograph for colour, exposure and consistency. Films are edited, graded and set to music separately.

You usually receive a small preview within a week or two. Full photo galleries are delivered within the window shown on your package, and films follow on their own timeline as they take longer to edit. Everything arrives in a private online gallery you can download from and share with family. Delivery windows are honest estimates based on the amount of coverage and the time of year, and if we are ever running differently to plan we will tell you.

Questions

Wedding photography FAQs

Popular dates, especially Saturdays from May to September, are often booked twelve to eighteen months ahead. If you have a date in mind it is worth getting in touch early. We hold your date once your booking is confirmed.

It depends on your day. A short registry or intimate ceremony works well within the two-hour Intimate package. If you want preparations, the ceremony and speeches, the Half-Day suits most couples. For preparations right through to the first dance, and for larger or multi-event weddings, the Full-Day or Complete packages give you the room you need. Tell us your timeline and we will suggest honestly what fits.

Yes, and this is something we have real experience with. Whether the ceremonies happen on the same day or across several days, we can cover both. We understand how each tends to run, so you will not need to brief us during the day itself.

A Highlight Reel is a short recap under 90 seconds. A Cinematic Highlight Film is around 4 to 5 minutes and is included from the Half-Day package. The Full-Day package includes a Cinematic Wedding Film of around 5 to 7 minutes. The Complete package includes both a cinematic highlight and a longer traditional film of roughly 10 to 20 minutes. Adding film generally means an extra videographer or crew on the day.

Drone coverage is included with the Full-Day and Complete packages where it is permitted, safe and practical. Some venues and locations do not allow it, and weather and airspace rules can prevent flying on the day. We will never promise drone footage regardless of the venue, but where it is possible we will use it.

Yes. Travel within Dublin is included. Kildare, Meath and Wicklow carry a small travel fee, and other counties a little more, all quoted and agreed before you book. We cover weddings nationwide and take on destination weddings too.

Weddings rarely run exactly to plan, and that is fine. We adapt as the day moves. If something runs late or changes order, we adjust with it and prioritise the moments that matter most to you.

A small preview is usually shared within a week or two. Full photo galleries are delivered within the window listed on your package, and films follow on their own timeline because they take longer to edit. Everything is delivered through a private online gallery.

The Full-Day and Complete packages include a complimentary framed print (A4 and A3 respectively). Additional prints and albums can be arranged after your gallery is delivered.
