A dedicated pre-wedding shoot
A longer, more produced session for couples getting married with us — several meaningful locations, room to change outfits, and drone footage where it is permitted and practical. It is the natural companion to your wedding day, and the images are lovely for save-the-dates and invitations.
More than a photo shoot — a rehearsal for the day
A pre-wedding shoot gives you time with your photographer well before the wedding, so by the time the day arrives you already know how we work and we already know how you two are together. That familiarity shows in your wedding photographs — you arrive relaxed rather than self-conscious.

Getting the most from it
A little planning makes a big difference. Here is what we usually talk through beforehand.
Choosing locations
Pick places with meaning, or let us suggest a route that flows well for light and travel time. We scout anywhere we have not photographed before.
Outfits
Traditional or Indian outfits photograph beautifully outdoors, and so do simple, well-fitting Western clothes. The longer packages leave room to change looks partway through.
Timing & light
The hour before sunset gives the softest, warmest light. We build the start time around it, and around your locations.
Drone footage
Where it is permitted, safe and practical, drone adds a sweeping sense of place. Included in Gold; available as a €150 add-on on the other packages.
Irish weather
We keep a flexible eye on the forecast and have a backup plan. Soft, cloudy light is often ideal, and we can move the date if conditions are genuinely against us.
Save-the-dates
Tell us if you want images sized for invitations or a save-the-date, and we will make sure to capture a few with space for text.
Pre-wedding packages
Travel within Dublin is included; outside Dublin is quoted before you book. Drone is a €150 add-on on Essential and Signature, and included in Gold.

Every delivered photograph is individually edited. Want more photographs? Extra edited photographs can be added to any package, extra time is €50 per hour, and A4 prints are €15 each. A 2–3 minute highlight film can be added to packages without video for €125.
Pre-wedding FAQs
A couples session is a relaxed hour or two at one or two spots. A pre-wedding shoot is the fuller production for couples marrying with us: more time, up to three locations, outfit changes and drone. If you are not planning a wedding with us, the couples session is usually the better fit.
Anywhere from a few months to a few weeks before the wedding. Far enough ahead to use the images for save-the-dates, close enough that you are in the swing of planning. We will help you choose a date around the light and the season.
Not at all — it is an option, not a requirement. It adds a beautiful sense of place at coastal and open locations, where it is permitted and safe to fly. It is included in Gold and a €150 add-on otherwise.
Irish weather is unpredictable, so we watch the forecast and keep a backup plan. Light cloud is often perfect for portraits. If the weather is genuinely against us, we rearrange rather than push through.
